Engine:

• Digifant 1.8L with the following modifications:
• Mallory 1/2" 0-100psi adjustable fuel regulator
• High flow in-tank centrifugal fuel pump (there is nothing left of the crappy, expensive factory fuel supply system)
• 1-piece 2.25" exhaust (a little over 500% more area than the 1" factory pipe that I took off). It comes off the manifold, through a straight through (cherry bomb) muffler, then turns 90 degrees and goes through a cheap 'turbo muffler' and out in front of the driver rear wheel. You can see the tailpipe (It's white) in the side view picture
• Ram air induction
• Modified MAF & ignition timing

• Hor technologie progressive rate springs
• Tokico HP dampers
• Autotech swaybars: 22mm front, 25mm rear
• Custom front stressbar/strut bearing support
• Custom rear acetal delrin (hard plastic) strut bushings
• Square tube 13 gauge 8-point roll cage with central torsion beam. 2" square on the mid hoop, rocker, and torsion beam, and 1.5" square everywhere else.

• Stock rims, 175/65/13 tires

• Roadmaster AM/FM/cassette from K-mart
• 2" tweeters in the front that I got for free
• generic $8 replacement speakers for the rear
• rear speakers driven by old pioneer 35W two channel amp that someone gave to me
• vented reflex subwoofer using a Madisound 8" dual voice coil woofer, passive crossover filter, and pioneer GM-62 35W amp.

• Standard-issue VW gray plaid, gray fur for the back
• 5-point harnesses
• Roll bar padding

• Some stripes that the prior owner claimed the dealer put on there for him.

• Driving lamps installed in parking lamp deletes in front bumper
• Hella comets (now they call them 550 driving lamps, I think) mounted on front grille opening reinforcement

• Sell it. Or maybe drive it though the winter and then sell it.
• Anyone want to buy it? The price I'd list would be around $2,000obo, (313)271-6520. I'd keep the hella comets and the subwoofer, buyer would get everything else and brand new (still in packing) yokohama guardex snow tires on rims.

• Have you beat a 5.0L Mustang to 300 km/h?
• No, but I was whipping up on an 93 golf GTI (festooned with G'Reddy and Neuspeed stickers) around an entrance ramp once, and he pressed it so hard trying to beat me that he nearly stuffed his car into the cement k-rail barrier.
