VW
Gol GTi Mk I (1989-1994)
A
wonderful car! The best Brazilian car of late eighties. The first fuel
injection car to be sold on the Brazilian market. Rated at 120 cv,
its engine is a 2-liter 8-valve borrowed from Brazilian VW Santana (known
in the US as VW Quantum). Very stylish, with a rear spoiler, a two-tone
paint job (the bottom is always silver gray) and 14" light alloy wheels.
Full of amenities: Recaro seats, air conditioning, cassette stereo, power
lock and windows. Mk II and Mk III models has the option of a 16 valve
version of this engine. Output: 145 CV!!!
Beautiful
car, isn't it? For Fox owners, note the clear turn signals, fog lights
in bumper, 'Fuba' antenna and opening 'triangle' windows! On a FOX!
