1983 VW Saveiro

The first VW Saveiro ever built was in 1983.

It has always been a 2-door pick up truck, and is produced to this day.

The engine (1983-1984):

• Flat 4 ("boxer")
• 1584 cc (1.6L)
• Air cooled!
• Rated at 66 CV SAE
• This engine was borrowed from the VW Fusca (known as the Beetle in North America)
