1982 VW Voyage LS

The first VW Voyage ever built was in 1982.

2-door models were available 1982-1995
4-door models were available 1983-1995

The engine:

• Inline 4 mounted longitudinally (like in the Fox)
• "MD270" 1471 cc (1.5L 8v)
• Water cooled
• Rated at 78 CV SAE
• Fuel by alcohol (an alternative fuel used in Brazil)
• This engine was borrowed from Brazilian built VW Passat
• In 1983 the "MD470" 1.6L engine was introduced for the Voyage/Parati lines, producing 82 HP
