• Sorry, no time to do an update.  Look for me at the Columbus, OH show on August 11, and the Great Canadian Bug Show in Toronto on August 18.

• New:  9Q swap info, lightened flywheels, engine mounts.

• New:  I just started a new page in the Modifications section, showing some possible "body kits" and accessories, using parts from other cars.

• I was hoping to do a big update all at once, but once again Real Life has gotten in the way, and I don't know when I'll have time to finish my redesign.  I have uploaded the pages I have re-worked for now, and will update the rest as time.  The pages that are updated are:
• the main page, What is a Fox?, What is a Fox not?,.
• In other news, I am contemplating a TDI swap into my Dasher.  If anyone has info on a longitudinal TDI swap, please talk to me!!  Don't hold your breath, though, as my priority is my Fox.

• Working on an update to the site, should be up in a week or two.  (This will include a slight redesign to make the info available easier to get at).
• Updated:  more detailed Fox 4-speed gear ratios,
• I receive a lot of e-mail asking for info and advice and other e-mails thanking me for the web site.  Other times I receive e-mails like this:

• I really want to revive these pages, but don't know when I'll be able to.  I will put the Registry on hold (like it hasn't been for the past 18 months), get the other content up to date, and then possibly revive the Registry.
• My current cars:  1992 Fox, 1988 Fox wagon, 1980 Dasher wagon diesel.  There's some info here.

In quick news, I have noticed that just in case my web site goes down,  someone out there was kind enough to post pictures from my site on theirs, without even changing the filenames.  End sarcasm.

• Well.  This page is slowly being revived.
• Air filter info.

• Still no update.  And I can't even forecast when I will have time.  I'm so busy that I've been driving without an Oxygen Sensor for 2 weeks now... no time to replace it.
• The only update is a correction on my links page -- Volkswagen Canada does exist, and I got an e-mail from VWoA asking to make that correction.

• Update coming after I get back from Waterfest.  I thought I'd have time to plow through the backlog of updates, but they won't come until early August.
• Part of the reason is getting my car ready for Waterfest.  If you're attending, please drop by and say "whatup?";  I'll be in the show car area.  Hopefully in the Dasher/Quantum/Fox/Pickup/MiscWatercooled area (or whatever the class will be this year), but I won't put it past the parking crew to be directed to the A1 Jetta area, like I was last year at first.
• I have some interesting updates in the works regarding usefull, cool and easy upgrades.  So please check back in August sometime.

• Oy again, no updates in a long time.  I haven't forgotten about this web site, I've just been busy (and lazy).  Please be patient with me for a while longer.  I'll get the web site up-to-date somewhat soon.

• I have gathered quite a bit of info about the Fox in Brazil (i.e. the Voyage, Parati and others), and am attempting to arrange it in an easy-to-read fashion.  (Lots of pictures too!)
• I am caught up with e-mails to the end of 1999.  If you sent me an e-mail in 1999 and haven't gotten a response, please e-mail me again.
• I am looking for information on the various Fox models - Fox Polo, Arctic Fox, Fox GTS, Fox with "Club Fox" stickers, Fox with a big "FOX" on the doors, and others.  Please let me know if you know anything about these editions.
