|HISTORY ARTISTS SUB-LABELS|
BETAPHENETHYLAMINE was founded in 2009 by its sole anonymous member. It was a project dedicated to explore a mood of artifice, the digital era and isolation in a glitchier style than the industrial that member had played before.
Within a few years, he honed down his style by exploring more and more facets of it until the sound had turned into a spectrum of sound, still with a central digital core. He attempted to find a community at various industrial and electronic music forums to very little avail. The sound of BETAPHENETHYLAMINE did not mesh with the dance communities.
It was not until discovering the fast, aggressive sound of Mental D-Struction that he felt the influence of and managed to release BETAPHENETHYLAMINE's first EP, Input Emulation, on the now defunct Wildness netlabel in 2011.
Since then, BETAPHENETHYLAMINE has only gotten harder and darker as its creator delves into his own soul and the outside world.
