!!! Happy 2008 from D-TRASH - Our 10th year in the game !!!!!   What's up trash heads!

Just wanted to put a shout out there and formally celebrate 2008 for D-Trash Records - can you believe it, it's our 10th year of operations. While I Schizoid wasn't personally involved at the point of March 1998 when DTRASH officially was born by b57 and m61 of the legendary CPUWAR and Zak/DJ RABIES who is now known as the popular CDATAKILL (I caught up with them in the 99). We all hooked up with that underground energy and attitude from there it was history... It's nuts thinking about back to 1998 and a lot of us in Canada finding out about bands like ATARI TEENAGE RIOT and PANACEA and SCUD only then, years after so much of it had been going on in Europe. Ah well, our minds were buried deep deep into the ground breaking stuff coming out from EARACHE and RELAPSE Records at the time, great industrial/noise/metal releases.

Anyway, with so many classic labels/netlabels/artists dropping off the scene like flies it's great to solidly reaffirm our stance and state of affairs and let it be known we're not going anywhere and are gonna keep giving you guys, excellent trashy tunes, make no mistake.   We have a lot planned for the year... Some of what I can tell now is we have releases from:

-this will be a collection of great mixes from that pressed CD we did last year with HANSEL, so far we have remixes from RENEGADE ANDROID, MIND DISRUPTION, THE SECRET LIFE OF TEENAGE GIRLS, BABYLON DISCO, PHALLUS UBER ALLES, CTRLER, NOT HALF, VOMIT ARSONISTS and more!

HIMIKO - www.myspace.com/himiko Very bizzare and unique jazz hardcore noise sounds, very creative stuff! Another Canuck onboard the DTrash pirate ship, and we are set to release her kick ass disc! on February 1st, DTRASH102!

ATARI X - www.myspace.com/atarix Our buddy from Russia is gonna be hooking us up with some material. He has some slick ass gangsta breakcore to blow up our ears when last we heard from him.

NOT HALF - www.myspace.com/nothalf !!! Rock on, our buddy NOT HALF will release a disc of material in the coming months! More on that! soon! You'll remember he did the split with DJ JESUS CHRIST on the classic DTRASH59! disc.

CANDIRU - www.relapse.com - Holy @$$@ our friend Pat from CANDIRU is going to hook us up with yet even more unreleased material. We made history in 2004 releasing their unreleased 2nd album and now we're awaiting more new goods.

VXXKXX - www.myspace.com/vlaadok (?) The monster behind audio jihadist project VENOM8888, will slay us with some of his new creations in the new year.

FAUX PRIDE - www.myspace.com/fauxpride - It almost seems like yesterday that we hooked up with this dude and his crew from UK Marionette Records, but he will come through full money with his 3rd and apparently last disc? as Faux Pride? entitled "Slapstick Bitch"

BLIPVERT - www.myspace.com/blipvert :stop:skronk:explode! composer Will Redmond - aka BlipVert - will deliver his punishing, brain-melting workout for his debut release on D-Trash Records. Combining everything from noise to breakcore to alien thrash, "this is raw electronic music without compromise or constraints."!

THE FIRST SEED - www.myspace.com/thefirstseed GREAT shit from D-TRASH hometown of Toronto! We saw his set at the 2007 Breakcore Elimination Challenge event and it was wyld, very grindy crusty breakcore and noise slices.

NWODTLEM - www.myspace.com/nwodtlem - Good stuff, our fine feathered friend from Here's My Card Records will be supplying us with our first DTRASH video release from an artist, he will give us a berzerked and frenentic breakcore/splatter disc of extreme visuals!

DK DANCE - www.myspace.com/dkdance13 - We are praying to Satan for a new DK Dance release in 2008.

There is a bunch of other shit cooking in the oven including the official DTRASH100 MUSIC VIDEOS DVD! which will come with a whole assortment of D-TRASH shirts (finally!) a lot of other rare and unreleased stuff. Watch for that we'll be pimping that large this year.

It's fucked up here on the cust of the 4th wave of D-TRASH artists and well into the planning for the DTRASH100's! 10 years flies by thats for sure!   Rock on guys, keep in touch!
