June 2005 is an exciting time for us at DTRASH Records, as we are
pleased to present our new professionally pressed CD, CONTRA's
"Enter The Winter".
We've heard this material through the different stages in the last year
or two, and knew it was destined for great things, with the material
culminating in our first DTECH style CD since 2003's "DTECH03 -
Various Artists - Rising Tide" compilation. This is also
CONTRA's first new material for DTRASH since that compilation, with his
exclusive tracks "Not A Huma Being" and "Dead Edit".
which showcased the more recent sound of CONTRA.
11 tracks of CONTRA's most accomplished work, this takes into account
all his past sounds and puts out a very unique and dark collection of
tracks, his most grown up material (Of course we don't mean it in
"that" way) very atmospheric combination of breakcore (without
even bothering with the amen beat opting for his own more complex
homegrown patterns), industrial, digital hardcore, ambient and noise.
With it being CONTRA release of course, the artwork duties were handled
by the most-competent trash artist VLADO KETCH (aka VENOM8888), and
looks stellar. Copies have been sent off to major/underground
publications for review and we are taking pre orders from interested
distributors. The CD is now available from these
