Noize Punishment "Noize Punishment"

The name of this Czech project directly reveals a part of their influences and their style. This is not about pure noise stuff, but probably the most refreshing and talented noise project I’ve ever heard! The noise basis of their tracks have been completed and mixed by different influences like industrial, decomposed rhythms and breakcore. The most interesting and probably unexpected influence is the powerful Public Enemy-influence that covers a few tracks. The opening piece is nothing else than a remix of Public Enemy, which of course explains the link. It’s a damned great version! Another cool cut is the more into d’n’b inspired “The wall”. This is noise that has been pushed to another dimension and the less I can say is that this way it becomes more accessible although it remains pretty extreme! -DP
