Panic DHH "Live Electric Set"

Wow. This is one hell of a kick in the ass! I put this cd in expecting to hear some Industrial metal/ DHC, but instead I am slapped in the face with some intense powernoise and Rhythmic noise blasts. This is definitely a departure from the Panic DHH stuff I've heard in the past, but I'm sure as hell not complaining. "Electric Live Set" is well, a live set that these UK pervs did sometime in the recent past. There are 10 tracks on this beast, and the end result is around 45 minutes worth of audio carnage. It sounds like it must have been one hell of a good show, judging from how high energy the material here is. Each track really beats the shit out of you, pulling you into a kind of psychotic rapid fire groove. The record mostly consists of loud fast distorted beats with some weird noises thrown in the mix, and while others may have a hard time making this steady formula work, Panic DHH pull it off seamlessly. If you have been yearning for a loud brutal powernoise record that will totally punish you, pick this motherfucker up. -Royce Icon
